Looks like the 360 started on it's long journey back today after someone on the phone today told me that "Oh, it's been 10 business days, it'll be shipped today." Does this mean they just waited two weeks before sending me a new one? I don't understand...

I am happy to report (if the serial number is correct) that this is a new model manufactured at the beginning of October. Will it magically have sprouted an HDMI port while in the bowels of microsoft? Only time will tell...

I’ve got $10 on red ring before Q108.

I might be right there with you. I get the ring every once in a while but usually can power down and start up again with no problem. I'm sure it will die a gruesome death sometime when I least expect it.

Nick, sent a friend request to you on Xbox live (bostonwolf) I enjoy the blog, hopefully we can hop online and kill some brutes sometime.

And I unfortunately doomed myself with the last post. Got the ring tonight, I doubt I'll have the damned thing back by the time Rockband comes out.
