I've been pretty good about getting to the gym recently and have been doing mainly cardio with a little bit of lifting mixed in. As I start dropping pounds that ratio with start changing, but for now it's working well.
As I was heading into the locker room, I realized my right ankle was a bit sore. Not unusual, because it's the chronically sore ankle that's probably been sprained 1000 times over the course of my thirty seven years. What was unusual is that I'd been keeping my routine very low impact to avoid this ankle soreness. Then I realized the problem.
Last night I busted out the drum kit for Rock Band and played for a couple of hours. My right foot is what I use for the kick pedal.
On the plus side, playing fake drums probably burned some calories :)

i hurt my wrist playing guitar hero all the time! i count guitar hero/rockband/wii sports as cardio exercise =D
